Summary Notes from Re-organizational Meeting January 6, 2003
A re-organizational meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held on Monday January 6, 2003 commencing at 7:00 p.m. The official minutes of the meeting are on file at the Sadsbury Township Municipal Building.
Mr. Ralph Garris was appointed Chairman for the 2003 year.
Mr. Douglas Doratt was appointed Vice Chairman for the 2003 year.
Lisa Myers was appointed as the full time Secretary Treasurer.
Mr. Ralph Garris was appointed liaison to the police department.
Mr. Doratt will be in charge of all parks and recreation.
Mr. Terry Franciscus was appointed as road master and Mr. Garris and Mr. Doratt as assistant road masters.
Mr. Terry Franciscus will be liaison to the planning commission.
Chairman Garris announced the following Township Employees:
Lamb, Windle & McErlane, P.C. as Township Solicitor
Gawthrop, Greenwood & Halsted, P.C. as Alternate Solicitor
Buckley, Nagle, Brion, McGuire, Morris, as Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor
Herbert E. MacCombie, Jr. P.E. as Township Engineer
Croft, Drozd & Company as Accounting Firm
Berkheimer Associates as Deputized Tax Collector
Municipal Support as Zoning Officer, Building Inspector
Herbert E. MacCombie, Jr., P.E. as Assistant Zoning Officer, Building Inspector
Sovereign Bank-First Financial, as Bank Depository
Mr. M. Jay Groce, III was appointed Chief of Police and liaison for public safety, fire protection services and emergency management services.
Mr. Ches Mikl was appointed as Chairman of the Vacancy Board.
The dates were set and will be advertised for the regular Board of Supervisors meetings to be the first Tuesday of every month (except November's Mtg.) to commence at 7:00 p.m. February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, May 6th, June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd, October 7th, November 3rd, and December 2nd.
The following Zoning Hearing Board members were appointed:
Linn Sheller 3 year term to expire 2006
Jack Martin 2 year term to expire 2005
Robert Silvernail 1 year term to expire 2004
Mr. George Dalmas was appointed to the Planning Commission for a term of 4 years to expire 2007.
Mr. Scott Weaver was appointed to the Administrative Appeals Board for a term of 3 years to expire 2006.
The dates were set and will be advertised for the Planning Commission meetings to be held on the second Monday of every month to commence at 7:30 p.m. January 13th, February 10th, March 10th, April 14th, May 12th, June 19th, July 14th, August 11th, September 8th, October 13th, November 10th and December 8th.
