Board of Supervisors Special Meeting with Keystone Helicopter September 10, 2003
The Board attended a special public meeting conducted by Keystone Helicopter on
Wednesday September 10, 2003 commencing at 7:00 p.m. Present were Supervisors Mr.
Garris, Mr. Doratt, and Mr. Franciscus and members of the community. Mr. Garris
turned the meeting over to Mr. Steve Townes CEO of Keystone Helicopter.
Attached and made part of these minutes is the information that was reviewed and
discussed with regards to the Noise Analysis Study for the Keystone Helipad.
The most popular question was "What if the pilot decides to veer off the flight path once
hes in the helicopter. The question was answered by stating if the pilot violates the rules
they will be without a job, its part of our policy. Mr. Townes stated that all the pilots are
professional and a hot line and after hours line will be set up to answer all questions or
concerns that residents may have.
With there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
